“ I’d like to give a huge thank you to the staff that turned my husband and I, plus our two well behaved dogs, away when it was -5c today. If you haven’t we’d of never discovered a few doors down the wonderful refuge of the Rise Artisan Bakehouse. We were made very welcome there in unpretentious warm surroundings. With views over the town. It was so delightful we didn’t just stay for coffee but had lunch there too. We therefore recommend that you continue to turn customers away because you don’t like the look of their well behaved dogs and send them down to the Rise as they will be most welcome there instead. ”
“ I've had afternoon tea twice here so far and enjoyed both. One was the spring themed, and the other was the normal one they offer. I have also been for normal food and enjoyed eating here every time. It is small and can get a little tight spaced when it's busy but not really an issue unless you're trying to move about ”
